Meet Our Team Member
Michelle Hall is an Associate Professor within Sydney Musculoskeletal Health and the School of Health Sciences at the University of Sydney. She is a leading researcher in hip and knee osteoarthritis, with a focus on lifestyle strategies such as exercise, sleep and bracing to reduce pain and improve quality of life.
Michelle’s work has resulted in more than 120 peer-reviewed publications, including in leading journals such as The Lancet Rheumatology and Annals of Internal Medicine. She currently leads multi-site clinical trials across Australia and the United States and serves on the Board of Directors for the Osteoarthritis Research Society International.
Alongside her research, Michelle is committed to creating opportunities for young people and emerging researchers. She is co-founder of the nationwide Biomechanics Research in Innovation Challenge and a Board Director of BrainSTEM. Through these roles, she champions equity, diversity and women’s participation in STEM, while helping strengthen the next generation of research leaders.
