By enrolling or participating in a BrainSTEM program, you agree to these terms.
For participants under 18, agreement must be provided by a parent or guardian.
2. Program Delivery
BrainSTEM provides educational programs, mentoring, and technology-based learning experiences, often in partnership with schools.
We aim to:

- Provide a safe and supportive environment
- Act in accordance with applicable laws and standards
Program content and format may evolve to improve delivery and outcomes.
3. Child Safety
BrainSTEM is committed to being a child-safe organisation.
We:
- Require appropriate clearances (e.g. Working With Children Check) for staff
- Maintain professional boundaries at all times
- Deliver programs in supervised and approved environments
Participants are expected to follow instructions that support a safe learning environment.
4. Privacy and Personal Information
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We:
- Only collect information necessary for program delivery
- Use data for authorised purposes only

5. Use of Images, Media and Testimonials
BrainSTEM may capture images, video, or testimonials during programs.
- Participation in media is optional
- Use is limited to program-related purposes
- Parental consent is required for minors
We do not:

- Grant unrestricted or perpetual rights
Consent can be withdrawn at any time, and we will take reasonable steps to stop future use.
6. Digital Platforms and Technology Use
BrainSTEM may use digital tools to support learning. All platforms used:
- Are reviewed for age appropriateness
- Must comply with platform terms of service
- Are approved prior to use
Participants will not be required to create accounts that breach platform age restrictions.
7. Acceptable Behaviour
Participants must:
- Treat others with respect
- Follow mentor instructions
- Use technology appropriately
BrainSTEM reserves the right to remove participants from a program if behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate.
8. Intellectual Property
All BrainSTEM materials, content, and resources remain the property of BrainSTEM.
Participants may use materials for personal learning but must not:
- Reproduce or distribute materials without permission
- Use materials for commercial purposes
9. Fees and Payments
Where applicable:
- Fees must be paid in accordance with agreed terms
- Refund policies (if applicable) will be communicated separately
10. Liability
BrainSTEM takes reasonable care in delivering its programs and maintaining a safe environment.
To the extent permitted by law, BrainSTEM is not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
11. Changes to Programs
BrainSTEM may:
- Modify program content, format, or schedule
- Substitute facilitators where required
We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption.
12. Termination of Participation
Participation may be suspended or terminated if:
